I am so excited to share these photos, and this story! Lydia found us online, and as soon as we started talking about her dream elopement, I knew we were going to connect. Al and Lydia are from Wisconsin and they knew from day one that traditional was NOT their style. So why should their wedding be traditional?! They wanted to incorporate the most adventurous and exciting parts of their relationship into their elopement; and share that with their closest family and friends.
They landed on a Moab elopement because of it’s intense landscape and forgiving weather. They also chose Moab because they had never been there before, and their favorite memories together have been discovering new places around the world.
We had scoped out for their Moab elopement ahead of time, but when they showed up and scouted themselves, they took it to a whole new level. We trekked on a hiking trail way further into the Moab wilderness than we had originally explored. It spat us out at the edge of a cliff with the most spectacular views of the red rocks and the La Sal Mountains.
We took these photos at their ceremony spot while the sun was going down, smiling ear to ear at the surrounding beauty of Moab.
