A Seattle Elopement Style Vow Reading
I am SO EXCITED to share this wedding with you guys today! I met Elizabeth and Jordan when we first moved to Washington state. We did their engagement photos at Rattlesnake Lake, where they had their first date. I fell instantly in LOVE with them. They quickly expressed their dilemma between an adventurous, Seattle elopement, and a big wedding with their whole families.
Their wedding was on a crisp, and surprisingly beautiful, day in early October. We were so astounded by how adventurous their wedding day was! When described what our adventurous elopement was like, their eyes lit up with fascination. Elizabeth glowed and said “I want that!” to Jordan. And, of course, because he’s so madly in love with her, he gave her the best of both worlds. He gave her the wedding of her dreams, and an intimate Seattle elopement.
They got dressed then ventured out to the beach in Seattle for their first look at vow reading early in the morning. The weather held up so that we could se the Olympics looming over the sound, the perfect setting for a Seattle elopement. They cried tears as they read their vows, and adventured around the beach for their photos. We loved this because before anything else, they used their vow reading to bring their day back to what was most important. THEM! And the things they wanted to say, audience or no audience.
They spent the rest of their day in the loving, open arms of their friends and family who came from all over the world to see them get married. They danced the night away overlooking the Seattle skyline and my heart is so full.
