Let me just start this by saying we love Moab. Utah is one of my favorite states because of its diverse landscape. The La Sal mountains linger on the horizon, ancient red rocks tower overhead. The Salt flats go on for miles, and the state has the more national parks than any other state. Moab has a peacefulness to it that you can’t find anywhere else.
Let me tell you about this spontaneous Moab engagement session. We were in Moab shooting an adventure elopement. I had been looking forward to this trip for months. An elopement in my favorite place? Yes please! The day after the elopement, our last day, we enjoyed a day exploring the Moab desert. We did the Fisher Towers hiking trail, which was way harder than we anticipated! We were soaking our sore muscles in the hottub when I received a message on Instagram. It was Jenna, asking if we were still in Moab. We were leaving the next morning, driving from Moab to Idaho, then Idaho home to Washington. I said yes and we chatted on the phone and clicked right away.
We got up the next morning for a sunrise photoshoot in Arches National Park. Golden hour was in full swing for this Moab engagement session, making the most magical desert sunrise. Hayden and Jenna were so much fun to be around and their energy shone through the camera during their Moba engagement session.
